Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ
HOW DO YOU DETERMINE THE COST FOR YOUR PIECES?
Number of hours spent: I usually charge $3-$5 per hour, depending on the medium.
Size of the piece: If the piece is larger, the cost increases. Vice versa for smaller works.
Print vs Original: If an original work is requested, the price is higher. Prints are cheaper, and allow for resale of the same piece.
Shipping Tax and Print Prices: Since I am only a struggling student, I unfortunately must charge for the shipping and printing, if applicable. Don't worry, I use the least expensive I can find!
Requests: If a piece is requested, it may be more depending on the thing being requested. Also, requests will take much more time to receive, as I will need the necessary amount of time to complete the work to the expected quality I provide.
WHAT ARE THE MEDIUMS AND BASES USEDÂ IN YOUR PIECES?
I really don't have a preference about mediums - I'm a well rounded individual when it comes to different art techniques! However, I do prefer paper, poster board, canvas, water color paper, and matte board for the bases of my works. I do not specialize in sculpting or woodwork.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO BE SHIPPED?
That all depends on your location! I reside in North Carolina, so depending on where you live, shipping may take longer than to customers who live in NC. Standard shipping usually takes anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks.
